Hey guys,

After many months of testing, I'm proud to announce the release of Caustic 3. The app comes as a free upgrade for Android users and I'm pretty excited and nervous to announce that Caustic is finally available to iOS users too.

Knowing you guys, I know there will be comments about lack of AudioBus and Inter-app audio. That's on the cards for 3.1 (along with a bunch of MIDI improvements) but I invite you to check it out anyway. The app is fairly self-contained, you build your rack by adding up to 14 machine with 10 machine types to choose from.

On top of that there are effects and you can automate almost any knob. (and you can edit your automation curves too!)

If you've ever used Reason, you shouldn't be too lost.

Caustic for iOS on the App Store

Excelente! Defo getting this one for me new iphone, dabbled with Caustic 1 on me old Sam Galaxy and can't believe how much it has improved. As a long time lover of Reason this is a must have. :D
Just make the music that you enjoy (failing that go for a walk, watch some porn, have a fight with a random bloke until something else happens).

SingleCell:

Glad to see this happening for IOS. Animoog going that way and now Caustic coming this way!

Thanks.

edit: It looks very good -- very REASONable. Lots of synths to try out. :)

its kinda funny how the best music making application isnt on the best platform. android has serious latency issues while ios does not. and yet, there really is no ios application that is as powerful and complex as caustic 3 imo of course. all those stupid cubasis fl mobile etc etc there based on samples. boring and very limiting. of course, there are some mobile studios similar to caustic but caustic is the best and most complex mobile music application. pretty much reason for android.

:edit: i just noticed it is available for ios 7 not sure if that was always the case. well, ios7 is what it runs best on no doubt. google really need to take the common man that is musicians seriously and not put low latency on the android back burner.

As always, very impressive.

I wish you great success on the stores with it.

This looks fantastic. I bought this today and it looks cool. Caustic 3 reminds me of my favourite software Propellerhead's Reason. Great stuff! :)

Instant buy for iOS. Great great app. Very good you made it audioshare compatible so we do not have to use a PC and iTunes for transfer. Hope you will make it audiobus compatible as well in time and maybe even IAA compatible so we can record directly into an app of choise. But make no mistake that Caustic rocks big time already IMO. Thanks for bringing it to iOS.

Best Wishes

Congratulations! That's really extraordinary work.
