why do you say reason rack ? they did grap a few things included there logo and it really look like a hybrid of reason and rebirth but then if they are not down with props they may have copyright troubles ?!!??festeringheap wrote:The Reason Rack is now mobile on both Android and iOS!
(OK, actually that rack is version 3 of Caustic - very cool if you're into that mobile kind of thing)
If you like Reason, you will like Caustic.

my undercover sly intergration to this forum been lasting the time it lasted
I should use some more of those signs ( ; , . ' )
I would like to talk about suggestions of the sequencer and integrated in the box racks of the future version because I love RE's but some other sampler that could make multiple sample playing with add fx options and faders and export to track would be nice and what about a hybrid since sampler that would read all the Reason formats from kong to subtractor ?!?!?!
anyway Lunesis you spoted me , maybe it is your writing talent that helped but find me from the writing and not the nick name deserve a bravo !
so bravo

No Charlie - it's a figure of speech. Caustic 3 is just a Reason-like app for iOS and Android. There is no mention of Reason nor Propellerhead references in any of its marketing material nor in the product itself (which really is a fantastic mobile app)...C+C+ wrote:why do you say reason rack ? they did grap a few things included there logo and it really look like a hybrid of reason and rebirth but then if they are not down with props they may have copyright troubles ?!!??festeringheap wrote:The Reason Rack is now mobile on both Android and iOS!

I think Ken is referring to "fader ganging" where you can multi-select channels and adjust all the faders' relative levels simultaneously. I'd be surprised if this feature was missing in Reason 7.5/8. It's requested a lot.

No, that's bussing not fader grouping. What every other daw can do is select multiple faders and drag them and they change their values relative with each other. That is different from bussing. They're used in different scenarios.AstralExistence wrote:

Creating a bus is not always the answer. What if I have different parts that go to different busses and I want to simply select a few faders and adjust their volume relative with each other? The only way to do this now is to change them individually. Bussing them again is not the answer since when you mix you want to be able to do multiple faders at once. When you sit at a real desk you don't adjust one fader at a time either.
So, thanks for the link but that's not what I meant. I would like to see exactly what Tronam was describing.
Hopefully it will be in a future upgrade.
Ken

If that's the case, you might also want to refer him to Retronyms' Tabletop app. It has a vastly superior GUI to Caustic 3, IMHO. In fact, Caustic 3 is almost painful to look at in comparison to Tabletop to my eyes.C+C+ wrote:I got a friend who just had his b.day so I will get him a app gift card and advise him with those apps : caustic 3 , figure , thor !

Tabletop will end up being more expensive in the end, though, as many of the instruments effects and features are sold as add-ons.
