Yup, that's it, I have had it.
Anyone else experiencing the, "I'm gonna follow you, put this track on private it, then share it with EVERY person I follow"? I mean, it has been around for as long as I have used soundcloud, but that was it, today was the day the broke the camels back.
I probably just lashed out way too irrationally at this person because they shared their music.

Look, here's the deal; I know you are following my soundcloud. I don't have a lot of followers and I'm not getting a lot of followers on a daily basis, so when someone new follows my music, I AM AWARE OF THIS. I like to see who this person is and find out if they are a "hot local single, user29849875" a legitimate follower, or someone who is seeking me to follow back. If they have music, I'll give them a quick thumb through on their music, and yeah, I listened to your music. it wasn't what I was interested in. SO here's the story, GUY, if I wanted to have your music in MY STREAM of artists that I ACTUALLY LIKE THEIR MUSIC, then I would have followed you, but I didn't. So get the F*ck out of here! :x

Whenever someone who follows 2000 people starts to follow me, I instantanely ignore him. He's certainly expecting me to do the same you do: listen to his music and, most important, comment, follow back or even mark one of his songs as favourite. Then, he vanishes, not giving a damn fvck about my tracks or commenting or whatever. Sure, I listen to his music, but don't really care about, because he will have already a good fanbase through "follow by follow".

I check every new follower and retribute every comment made on my tracks, by actually listening the follower music and picking my favourites. It's a little tedious, since the free SC account doesn't give details about your audience. You must search your own tracks to find the new comment. But I do it. I only follow back if I really like his tracks. Of course I comment on tracks I like whenever I feel it's apropriate.

Fortunately, I never received any follow back request and I'm sure I'll mostly ignore any of them.

Yeah....sadly most of my followers seem to be either the famous spammers "hot local single girl, user092358" or people who are just seeking me to follow back. Kind of makes me sad sometimes. I just got another user today who is clearly just following me in hopes I'll go favorite his tracks and follow him back.

hahaha, that's priceless. This isn't the hot-local single user98738975 who is following me.

Lots of these people claim to be blonde, but their photos don't seem to support this statement of intent. Hopefully they will never require passports.

Don't you know not to pass judgements on what is one the outside? It's the inside that counts, so I am certain they all fit the blonde stereotype inside.

Sounds like blonde music to me.

All wannabeaDJ copycat EDM "producas" pedding the same flavour of oversidechained BOOM fffSHH BOOM fffSHH which has already been done brilliantly by others and would you please JUST FIND A NEW TREND TO COPY CUZ IT'S GETTING OLD K THANX!

When they leave a generic compliment on one of my tracks with a link to their own shit it pisses me off. And when I hear what they're peddling it pisses me off even more!

Then there are the "sexgirls" - don't even get me started :(

At certain point, it becomes easy to pick up who is who on Soundcloud.

Strangely enough, I think I don't have any "ghost" followers, since most of my friends on SC are real people with real music. Yet, something that I still don't understand is people following me after I comment their songs. Their simply follow me and don't even listen or comment my tracks. Maybe they seem it as an opportunity to increase their followers by a possible follow to follow exchange, which I rarely do.

I did it once, and the asshole unfollowed me a day latter. :x
