I'm just thinking that NI's servers are overloaded at the moment.
Using it in demo mode for the time being, and waiting until tomorrow to authorize when hopefully traffic has cooled down a bit, might be what's needed?

I'm fairly sure you have to install it to have it detected by Service Center. That's why I mentioned tricking the installer. Just extracting it won't work because the SC won't know it's on the system.
You could try selecting the package file(s) in Pacifist and using the Install option rather than extracting the component. The SC probably reads the install receipts to know what's on the system.
For me, faking the system version works best. Especially when installing a bunch of updates. The only downside is having to revert the SC afterwards to the old version.

The GUI looks great.
Nice gift, thank you NI
But... why the hell does the smallest NI product weights more than 100Mo and needs a 300Mo service center nightmare ?

Glad to help. It looks like we'll have to do this from now on with NI program updates. Only a couple from the last batch supported 10.6.8.el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:when i first tried it, i extracted the component, and it loaded up in logic, but sc did not pick it up. i tried to extract the sc update from pacifist and it did not work

To fix the standalone Reaktor program, drag it to the desktop, right click and pick "show package contents", then open the Info.plist in the Contents folder (you can use TextEdit if you don't have a plist editor installed). Change the MinimumSystemVersion to 10.6.8. Save the file and drag the program back to it's folder.
I found that if I edited the plist file in-place the program wouldn't refresh and would complain about requiring 10.7 when I tried to run it. Dragging it out of it's folder and back in fixes this.
