@neverenoughfunk - Scrutinize as you wish. I was working with information given to me, then things happened and the date got moved out. Stuff happens and we move forward. If you are skeptical of the information I provide now, that's absolutely fine and you can rely on the information that comes when SampleTank 3 is released. It is pretty straightforward.

I understand that your frustration may be somewhat eased by dwelling on the past and holding my feet to the fire or even discrediting me, but I'll point out that I'm not resisting and simply accepting that I gave the information I had from the sources I had, and then things happened. That's kind of how life works. If we don't move on, we don't move forward.

Doesn't seem confusing at all to me, or most of the folks participating in the thread, to be honest.

2014 NAMM Show, January 23-26, now does this mean Sampletank 3 is just being shown with months being added on to the release, or is it being shown and released around the Namm show?

You will have the answer on or near that time.

Well hopefully this isn't a war/revolution with opposition etc but that just means that I don't have exact information at this time especially in light of there still being a bit of caution necessary to make sure I don't upset as many people this time around if things change (even for the better). Basically, we have a plan to release this information in a structured and official manner and I'll be sticking to that from here on in as much as possible. Those that know me even "virtually" know though that I'm human and may likely screw up here and there and let something out of the bag but I'm trying not to so it doesn't even get misinterpreted.

As much as it means they may release before NAMM. So many possibilities exist anything is possible.

you see Peter... when you were misleading us... you were on your high horse... at times very disrespectful... all along i said ST 3 was not coming out 2013 (yes... 10 months ago)... remember posting the website to employment for ik multimedia for me and tell me to put my money where my mouth is... think about it... "your" superiors did not give you the correct information... and you are spreading it like the gospel... i believe ik multimedia management knew back in the summer 2013 that ST 3 was going to be announced at NAMM... that type of decision is not a "snap" decision... they had to think about X-MAS sale when thinking about rolling ST 3 out... all of this is business 101 concepts...

i could go on... but you could fill in the blanks from there... we are expecting a "nice" product in ST 3... but you were riding a high horse there... looking down at other... but at the end of the day... i knew ST 3 was going to announced at NAMM 2014 (i do not work at ik multimedia) and am predicting a release in the end of the first quarter 2014...

No, things changed and I passed the information on (it was known right before the tweet heard 'round the world about showing SampleTank 3 at NAMM) and again you can believe what you wish. I apologize if you feel you were mislead on purpose or that you feel disrespected. Again, though, you seem to have a lot of insight into how an audio company works (and IK particular) but I know better than to post the job listing page again

Seems the best route is the one I just suggested in my other post - accept information when it is 100% verifiable at the time of release. Buy or don't buy based on whatever criteria you feel necessary. These are fairly straightforward suggestions, though, I'm sure you are aware of these options available to you.

Would you like to find a real whipping post and arrange a flogging for me? I feel you'll only be satisfied one you feel you've whipped me enough for perceived wrongs against you.

No, no, no. Not in my mind anyway.

That was in response to BBFG#'s concern about not being shown, or released, at NAMM.

Anything IS possible but we won't know till we know.

I think we should contniue to ask those questions we have and be willing to accept the answer given....not as gospel, but to the "best of my knowledge."

As I said earlier, things change. It's the only constant in life. And those with the best adaptability survive.

Not that having or not having ST3 has anything to do with survival
