Meteor v2 Inter-Audio App problem

I have just updated to Meteor v2 which is supposed to have inter-app audio support. However when I go into opening an IAA instrument or effect I get a message telling me that there are no compatible apps found. I have most of the IAA supported instruments like Nave on my iPad Air so why is it telling me that? This could be a bug. I have tried deleting Meteor and reinstalling it but I get the same message when trying to open an iAA instrument or effect. Please advise.

I had the same problem so I emailed 4 pockets.
This is the reply I got
"Thanks for letting us know. The development version worked fine, but for some reason the distribution version on the App Store doesn't show any compatible apps.
We are currently working on the problem and will have it fixes ASAP."
Looks like it's an audio only implementation of IAA as well which is a shame.

1. Make a midi track
2. Open a synth
3. Go to the midi editor and click "channel" in the bar above piano roll
4. Choose the synth as output and the midi channel
There is no such thing as IAA midi anyway. It is just the usual routings, which you also will find in Cubasis and which also worked when there was no IAA in Cubasis. I thought there was a thread on this already.
Edit: Hey you don't even have to go to the midi editor. They have added an option to route directly from the track view. Just expand the midi track and touch in/out.

Thanks that's helpful.
How did you work it out, it's not in the manual.
Complicated compared to the way cubasis does midi for most IAA apps though. Mind you there's some particularly Virsyns ones that you need to do the old fashioned way.

The first method has been there for ages (midi editor). Found with experimentation long ago.BiancaNeve wrote:

The other (track view) was found by 15 sec of experimentation with the updated version. I just touched everything on the track view.
And yes, the manual isn't very helpful.
Enjoy

The IAA fix is now in the app store. I have downloaded the fix and IAA seems to work. However, Arturia iMini seems to be missing from the list when I select an IAA plugin on Meteor

Yeah, I emailed Four Pockets about that issue with iMini and received an email from them a few days ago telling me that they will be fixing the issue. It now looks like they have fixed it in the new update.
