Christmas, New Years, End of year Bills - my budget for this year is spent and I highly doubt its a $49 product. For all I care they could release anytime from February.

My guess... They will announce the release and then a demo will be available. Of course once it is released, that will essentially be a beta since it is v1...

Once it is released, it should be a version 1.0 (not public-beta), they could have done a public beta for the past 12 months, but they decided to keep it a closed-beta.

Hope to see version 1.0 this year !

Happy Holidays, and Let's hope Bitwig will be our special gift this year... we waited enough (I think)

Right now I wouldn't put too much hope into a release in 2013.
I don't know the plans but I still see some bugs and missing things, so I guess it is more realistic to expect it 2014.
