I am doing the music for a end of year pant at work, I have 20 audio files all prepared to release on the fly.

I could use the default music player but if there is something more appropriate that would be good.
Some of my audio files are longer than they need to be to be flexible so I need to be able to activate the next piece of audio as soon as I need it.

Any suggestion? alternatives to music players also welcome as long as it will do the job :)

Traktor DJ is on sale right now and might be a good alternative. It gives you more control over fades if needed.

Thanks for suggestions. I have Tractor, don't like not being able to load more then 2 songs at once. I have 20 audio files in set.

Set list and similar stuff found on search could be an option as long as they play music.

I did a test run today on a rehearsal using the iPhone music player. I has sleep mode turned off but activating play after a gap seemed too slow to react. Also when a song ended the next one started. I need something that will only play one song in a playlist then stop. Only thing I found so far that can do this is the Denon audio but it doesn't seem to have a poison tracker which is very useful on the standard music app.

Yeah, poison trackers are hard to find these days.

Another one might be Keesy. I just dl'ed the app this morning, but haven't tried it yet. Keesy is a soundboard. More for samples, but might work for what you are doing.
