Would i be ok with a 16gb iPad mini 2?

Or should i get a 32gb?

Atm i mainly want one for a controller to use with Touchable, Lemur, Konkreet etc but i don't want to find in 6 months that i should have got the 32gb cause i end up using it for more than i thought i would.

Cost is a bit prohibitive, i don't want to spend more than £350+ so i'd be looking at a refurb for more than 16gb.

Best alternative seems to be the iPad 4 32gb with retina display or an iPad mini.

Ok it looks like i want 32gb minimum but silly me didn't think about how i was going to connect it to my desktop which is wired ethernet, what can you use other than wifi to connect to a computer? Lightning connector? Thinking about Thesys running on an ipad is making me want to order one but i don't know how to connect it to other equipment.

On that just came across the Alesis IO4 so now i'm sure i'll get one, was trying to work out if it could potentially replace the laptop for portable music making as well. Anyway any info appreciated on what works best etc.
