Best MONO Piano Sample Library

Hi Folks,
For years I've struggled to find a piano library that does not collapse into a small, weak-sounding, anemic mess when collapsed to mono.
I can't tell if this is do to poor phase-alignment of mics when recording (I know what that sounds like, and it sure sounds that way to my ears) or due to some kind of processing designed to enhance the stereo image.
Lots of pretty "spacious" sounds, but I can't find a library that sounds big, bold, close and present (think Beatles or any number of classic recordings) in mono.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips or suggestions? None of sounds I have (Ivory Grand Pianos, NI Berlin/NY/Upright/Kontakt 5 Library, SampleTekk Old Lady/Vertical Pop, or any of the SampleTank sounds) are really very close.

OTS rosewood grand sounds great in mono. Specifically for the type of pop production you refer to it's my goto.
For slightly more intimate pieces I use imperfect samples' upright which does well in mono also.

Same problem...none of the above (and many others) will give a decent mono.MickGael wrote:Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips or suggestions? I don't understand why they don't just use M/S recording.
Wide stereo is so easy to achieve...
Pianoteq has mono...close but too artifical for my ears.
Anyone who can sample and build a decent MONO only piano lib will take my money...

+1
I did pick up the OTS Rosewood Grand (thanks Ah_Dziz!) and it is very nice. Does narrow stereo spread nicely! Deep bass notes sustain in a slightly odd way to my ears, but it does the narrow spread better than some other candidates and can be tweaked to be less roomy. Even so, still looking!
