Hey everyone I'm glad to be on this forum finally... took me a while to sign up with all the forum updates going on.

It seemed like out of all the forums, this one seemed to be one of the most active and best behaved(?). I read a topic about Justice and it had 0 penis jokes, so I knew this was the one.

My question today concerns mixing in Logic Pro X.

I'm making a hiphop/r&b song and I got the drum track just right last night.
When I play it with the other tracks, it looses its bass attack (loses something in the mix).
How can I get the attack back? Does it involve side chaining and parallel compression?
