Hey guys,

Have never used a DAW outside of playing with Fruity Loops in the early 00's, so hope you can give me a recommendation. I will list out below what I'm looking for... not sure if this stuff is impossible, or maybe they're standard features in all DAWs. *shrug*

The main purpose is to record live for publishing on Youtube. Currently have a Motif XF and will add at least one other synth in the next few months (probably something in the Korg Triton line, cuz I LOVE that board.) I want to be able to record both of these plus vocals on seperate tracks, so I can go back and edit them later. Basically just quantizing the MIDI, and touching up the vocals a little, since I'm a keyboard player, not a singer :) lol A big plus would be to add live vocal effects via software while I play (like the 'Vocalive' app on iPad).

I also want to be able to import acapella vocals like the link below, so I can jam along with a click track or something:

I just got a brand new i7 4770 set up with 16gb of RAM, running Windows 8.1 64-bit, plus an older Lexicon Alpha USB sound module, a Mackie mixer, and Shure SM-58 mic I had lying around. So other than an audio interface for multi-track recording, I think I'm ready to start recording... all I need is a DAW to play with :)
