Hello,
Just curious about the singing envs parameter on the tweak page. I noticed that turning that on helps prevent random clicking noises in some patches. The manual states...
"Switching singing envs on causes the envelope of a new voice to start at the current level of the stolen voice’s envelope instead of at zero, emulating the typical behaviour of classic analogue envelopes more closely."
So are the clicking noises I'm hearing when this setting is off expected behavior? If so, then what would be the value of turning this parameter off? I'm using the AAX format in Pro Tools 11.1.2.
ACE singing envs

Yes, envelopes do produce clicking when they have extremely fast attack times. This is true of hardware instruments as well.

Thank you EvilDragon for your reply, I did try increasing the attack and release times thinking it would decrease some of the clicking when this setting is off, but I guess since the new voice env levels are jumping back down to zero, that is what is causing the clicks. Glad I found that switchEvilDragon wrote:Yes, envelopes do produce clicking when they have extremely fast attack times. This is true of hardware instruments as well.
