How do you acidize a wav file (slice & keymap)

Zero-X BeatCreator might do - unfortunately, trying the demo won't tell you, as it's completely save/export disabled...

Well...
From what i understand ...Soundforge will do some acid coding but it is just the tempo and Pitch header that it puts in.
To properly acidize a wav file you need The Full Version of Acid. It puts in the slices but you may need to edit manually to get them to line up proper.
Sonar has a Groove Clip tool in it that slices the transients but ... You need Acid to code the .wav for Most Programs ...Like One/Solo for example to recognize the file properly.
Acid is the Only way i Know of to slice and Acidize.

fl-studio 4 has a 'save ACIDized' feature in its render dialogue (which is fully functional in the demo) but i have no idea to what extent it actually 'ACIDizes' the .wav

Dave (Muon) and Gol (FLS) were discussing why AMG/One Solo couldn't read FLS-created ACIDized wav files - apparently not all of the slice information is present.pHz wrote:fl-studio 4 has a 'save ACIDized' feature in its render dialogue (which is fully functional in the demo) but i have no idea to what extent it actually 'ACIDizes' the .wav
I use Dicer for slicing, but I also have One Solo (I was a beta tester). I like both for their purposes.

Thanks for the responses,
BeatCreator does not do it. I tried all types of exporting. I could not do it.
How do you do it with Acid. I used the BeatMapper and set the option save with file. Then i saved the file and also used the original file with the Cyclone DXi and it did not recognize it.
So how do you use ACID to acidize a wav file that others can read.

i picked up the Soundblaster Acid (Acid Lite) and by setting up the Beatmapper and rendering thinking I would be able to render an acidized wav file.
but Cyclone can't slice it and the actual file save option states MS wav.
so don't expect that to work. It turns out I don't need an acidized file as much as I thought I did, but still I can see where it might make some things easier
i suppose the light version of SoundForge may run into the same issues.
what is the true test if a wav file has been acidized?

is there any kind of batch convert in any of these apps? Like the lite version of Acid?

i don't think that by acidizing you can store slice information ...
acid itself does only save the assigned key and the information if a wavfile is oneshot , loop or diskbased , and with the latter two also the tempo.
i can't see where the slices should come from ? acid doesn't slice itself or save sliced files (unless in a whole project).
sounds much like a rumour or misunderstanding to me ...
anyone caring to spread some light about it ?

I am going by what Dave at Muon has told me.
I am trying to get Acid loops that I make to load into one/solo and he has said that only acid Full version will do the acid header coding that one/solo needs to load Acid loops properly.
Unfortunately at the moment I can't get my older version of acid to load and run on WinXP to check this out.
Anyone able to code an Acid loop that will open in One/solo?
