Weird. I thought acid was the acid rock I grew up on, like Hendrix, Cream and Pink Floyd. Are you talking about Chicago acid house?
This is what acid means to me:

Acid means many things to my mind and agree with you so can we go a little olderGonga wrote:Weird. I thought acid was the acid rock I grew up on, like Hendrix, Cream and Pink Floyd. Are you talking about Chicago acid house?
This is what acid means to me:
Floyd, Hawkwind, Beatles (Sargeant Peppers Loney Hearts) :{) all had some very influential rides. although this is strating to go prog rock so very sorry ...
Floyd has got to be delicate sound of thunder - first track of there's I hear under the influence.
Hawkwind Zones Album :
Some Floyd
and for the slightly insane I found this tonight so for fun ... the Zep backwards
LOL.
Still one of my favourites

Possibly the best set I've ever heard
Techno -> Acid -> Gabba -> Hard Trance/NRG -> Back to Acid (via everything in-between inc. NWA, Tone Loc et al).

As it's Aciday night posting another old school favourite of mine, still got on Vinyl.
It's a builder and a grower...slower tempo than most but just works for me in a set

The most ridiculous, stupid and yet hilarious Acid track I've ever heard.
Old track, but new to me.
Just a 9 minute audiobook sample over a 303 & 909.

Must have seen the liberators a hundred times. Squat parties in Hackney. Club Dog in Finsbury Park.
Anyone else remember the graffiti outside?
'Ken Dod's Dad's Dog's Dead'...
The Rocket on Holloway Road. Mega Dog. Pretty sure one of the liberators played there too, if not all of them.
Wasn't there 3 of them that called themselves Liberators?
Havin' it. Indeed.
They came, they saw, they Hav'd it!
