I'll file it under B for "boo hoo".
Read 3rd reply to your original post by Duncan - explains precisely how to add FLStudio forums to "trusted list" without changing your original settings.
Is there any legitimate reason why you chose to ignore it?

For what it's worth, I believe that you are a legit FLS user. However, your worries about security in this case are unfounded. You don't need to open up your security to anybody other than Imageline. It is a very painless process as described in an earlier post inside this thread.
Use Looptalk or don't, but do expect to be scrutinized if you choose not to! If you can live with that, rock on dude!
As for free upgrades... there has NEVER been a single FLS upgrade (as per the lifetime upgrade agreement) that cost anything! As for upgrades to another product level (as opposed to the free lifetime version upgrades), that's an entirely different story & you have sorely misunderstood the difference. you'll be happy to know that upgrades to FLS version 5, 6, 7 & beyond will always cost you nothing. However, if you want to move up to another product level (i.e. Producer to Producer Professional - if it should ever become an actual product), there will be additional costs invovled.

I haven't read 'everything' in this thread
but here's a suggestion. If you ever have a corrupted flp that won't reload, have a look in the FL program folder > Trashbin folder. There's a backup flp, try that.
This only applies to the song you are using at the time and this is taken from the included doc
'When you overwrite a song file, the previous one is not really overwritten, instead it's placed here as a backup, so that in case you made a mistake your project is not lost.'
I've only ever had a few corrupted flp's, usually due to a vsti/fx that FLS didn't like for some reason.
This little gem of a feature has got me out of the sh#t more than once
Apologies if this has already been mentioned

RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

Use another browser that's less vulnerable to popup/spyware issues. Checkout FireFox or Opera. They have features that disallow popups and cookies. With Firefox (at least) you can specify on a site by site basis how to handle popups and cookies. i.e. disable for all sites except those listed as exceptions. So you could turn on cookies only for looptalk, for example.benn wrote:
you know why i'm not on looptalk? because i don't like enabling cookies or making my studio systems vulnerable to tracking cookies or spyware.
