Great news! I'll certainly have a good look at it. Herbert's stuff is always top notch, because he really tries to do something new, unique. Keep 'em coming.

If only the plugins were native 64bit :/ I know about the difficulties, but still. They wouldn't have to be free for me, either. I'd imagine that the VoS line-up at a tonebooster-esque price point could be a success that would make Herbert's work worth his while.

His plugins are better and more unique than some of the > $100 plugins I have.

x32 isn't problem for me at all, jBridged VoS plugins work without any problems in my x64 Cubase.

Amazing plugin, thank you Bootsie!

Thanks Bootsie :)

A few test runs while mixing: I don't know what the hell it's doing to the sound, but I really like what it does. There's a noticeable gain of... presence, for lack of a better word, without any noticeable artefacts or distortion. Depth is another word that comes to mind, but we all know how words fail when trying to describe sound.

Still need a bit more experience with it, but it looks like it's going in my channel strip. Well done! :tu:

Thank you, bootsie.

If anyone wants to know what this plugin does:
Imagine your audiomaterial would be a picture, then look here (before/after):

...and it sounds exactly this way

I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Everyone's taste (depends also on the input material), but what about this:

Been listening to the 70's Pink Floyd albums through it today. Verdict: best plugin in the universe!  :!:

the one on the right looks kind of unnatural, like a painting. the one on the left is simply too bright and lacks contrast. nothing a decent photo editing software wouldn't fix. maybe i'm just not buying this whole HDR thing :-D (not meaning audio though)

Thanks, bootsie, for bringing the mojo back! 8)

I tested it on different material, and it really brings some nice coloring into it; quite pleasuring, not as aggressive as other saturation effects...

Try the plug-in. This back and forth about pictures is useless. If you don't like it, you didn't waste any money, just a little time.

Variety of Sound just released SlickHDR -a new approach towards high dynamic range processing on the audio domain. The UI might indicate it’s some kind multiband compressor but that’s not the case. Consider it being a multi-timing compressor.

And just in case that you wanted to look at some really unobstrusive HDR images, then just have a look at http://varietyoflight.wordpress.com/
and make it better. :hihi:

Thank you again Bootsie. This must be one of your best plugins so far.
