P5 isn't as hungry as people think...The thing is that originally she seemed so...I think it had something to do with the synths having all outs enabled by default...that's changed in 1.5 so that's no longer an issue...Erki wrote:How is the CPU usage?
When i tried Project 5 a while ago it almost killed my computer even though it did´nt sound all that good. So i hope they have optimized this one better.
No, it's not...I worked in a bakery once. The baker made everything from scratch...He had to make custard for some of the doughnuts...He had to adjust portions based on season and recent demand...The square root of custard is inversely proportional to the radius of the thigh of the right leg of the animal that had to die for the gelatin used all over the cube root of the volume of its left testicle/ovary extruded...through a pore...to the power of N...maoinhibitor wrote:3. Most likely not, since it won't use DXI or VSTI other than the Roland GrooveSynth and PSYN.ericj23 wrote:damn

dont suppose you know if the midi output thing that was written for project 5 works for this ?
Is your pc up to snuff? I've found the same types of sound problems occur when I load up too many synths or too many effects, when my latency is real low.jmousseau44 wrote:What the heck is up with Kinetic and ReWire. No matter what audio card, no matter what driver this damn thing will not play nice with Live or Cubase SX. I've tried it all, been around the web and no one seems to be able to figure this one out. Has anyone else had this experience? I'm using a M-Audio Firewire 410 and and Echo Indigo io pcmcia card. Both produce the same results with their ASIO drivers, ASIO4ALL driver and the Direct X Driver: crackels, hisses and general nastiness.
