Does this mean plugin presets/patches cannot be loaded at the moment? Then it's pretty useless for me...

Well, if the plugin has it's own preset handling everything is fine, of course. But if it relies on the vst generic fxb stuff I cannot for the life of me see how to use the presets. Seems not doable yet? If so, can't imagine staying that way past beta.Tricky-Loops wrote:Does this mean plugin presets/patches cannot be loaded at the moment? Then it's pretty useless for me...

This is a known issue that will be addressed.spacecult wrote:Well, if the plugin has it's own preset handling everything is fine, of course. First off, What a fun modular host
Thank you for making this and giving it to the world Free.
Have not read the entire thread but I second or is it more like 20th the option to have a way to make it so the plugin itself can have either stereo or mono ins and outs. also would be nice to have on the ins and outs of the host itself. Was what made me like eXT1.xxx
Some things I think would be cool????
Add VU meters to show the hosts output level.
Ability to specify more than one VST plugin directory.
Have not tested much but the 32bit version did very well on scanning my VSTi directory, Still need to test with VST FX.
OK for some weirdness? There seems to be a problem running this at a sample rate other than 44.1khz (I think this might be part of the CPU\crackle people mentioned)?????
I tried both the VST and standalone at 48khz CPU goes through the roof and the crackles start, whereas the same settings in other hosts is not a problem?
The only reason I mention this is because Linux Sampler pithces up a little over a semitone in minihost, again in other hosts this is not an issue.
Thanks again, if I can help at all please let me know? Willn post back after playing this afternoon.

Yes please!FrettedSynth wrote:Add VU meters to show the hosts output level.
But a digital meter (best with numeric readout as well), not a VU (average meter).
Or, if desired to measure both - combine the meter:
Like the Durrough meter design (horizontal) or the K-System meter (inline), 300ms for RMS, and the "peaks" are shown as single LED hovering on top of the regular measured signal.
Like this:

Oh yeh! Forgot to mention;
If you make it possible to have mono ins\outs? Please add level compensation when a stereo out goes to a mono input, But unlike eXT1.4 please when a mono output is routed to a stereo "in" do not compensate the level.
Peace
Joe

Can people please list the hosts that Minihost isn't loading as an Effect on?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You need to play a note to trigger the sequence.highkoo wrote:Ah!firepile wrote:Yes, in the stand alone version.highkoo wrote:So everyone else can see the Audio/MIDI tab?![]()

Thanks!
In the VST, in FL, the piano roll stops playing its notes when I close it.
When I open it back up, the notes are there, but its stopped, and settings are reset.
