1) EVERY time i hit undo playback stops ( does not depend on the action i undo )
2) EVERY time i change the velocity of any given note i have to restart playback to take this change into account ( does not depend on inbuilt or AudioBus instruments )
iPad2 running iOS 6.1.3
this does not qualify as workflow in my books...
does anybody else have these issues?

1) Happens for me too.
2) Dito.
Sure, it's not fantastic but personally it doesn't really hold me back.
What I really find annoying is how hard it is to change velocity at all since the velocitybar doesn't gain width when zooming so it's really difficult to adjust that slider.
PS. Runnig iOS7/iPad 4.

Well, if it's really your workflow I can imagine it being annoying. Fortunately Steinberg releases a lot of updates so it might be worth a shot addressing the issue to them.
Then again -although I'm no programmer- I can imagine this change in behaviour requires some heavy re-programming as now also changing the length of a note for eg. also requires stop/play, so the playback seems to be buffered.

the velocity issue / behavior seems to be no problem for others ( as i couldn't find relating threads over at cubasis forum ) which i can't understand at all! does nobody else use different velocities in beats?

You probably already know about this, but just for the record- in 'Settings' you can choose the 'full white keys' option so different velocities are applied depending on where you hit the key.
I suppose others -like me- simply live with this behaviour.

sorry, but we talk about different things! i mean changing velocities in the midi editor for already entered notes ( programming beats! )Spiritos wrote:You probably already know about this, but just for the record- in 'Settings' you can choose the 'full white keys' option so different velocities are applied depending on where you hit the key.

No, we're on the same page..
I just meant that when recording you can play different velocities but when mico-editing you -indeed- encounter the behaviour you spoke of.

It is still tedious, but here is a much more reliable way of adjusting the velocity of a note:Spiritos wrote: What I really find annoying is how hard it is to change velocity at all since the velocitybar doesn't gain width when zooming so it's really difficult to adjust that slider.
1) Tap a note in the piano roll to select it
2) Use your left hand to tap and hold the "VEL" button on the left side of the piano roll
3) Using your right hand, just swipe up or down anywhere on the screen. As long as the Velocity button is held down, any other touch will adjust the velocity for the currently selected note.
