I've recently moved to XP (clean install).
Reinstalling everything, all went fine excepting that every time I wanted to start Chainer, it was taking around two minutes or more to appear on the screen.
Troubleshooting it, I found that in the icon's shortcut properties in XP, there is a compatibility mode for older operative systems, so I've changed it to Win98 mode.
Now it starts inmediately, like in my old 98SE, but everytime that I want to load Kontakt or any other NI instrument it detects a new system configuration so they automatically get unregistered
This does NOT happen when Chainer is in the normal mode, but instead I have to wait an enourmous amount of time for chainer to open and then again to open each instrument GUI.
Anyone has a solution for it?
