As for your song, just in case I didn't make it clear, I did like it. I also thought that too many people were just a little too hung up on the details of the guitar part.

"Mc" as in gaelic for "son of", and "Lilith" as in the tradintional name of the "wife of the devil"

But I can understand McLilith being shorter and more convenient

The piece is (you guessed it, didn't you?) done with Real Guitar Steel Stereo, with one guitar on solo, and the second guitar on 3 string chords (like what real guitarists play, and not those stupid fat stupid fat big stupid fat 6 string chords that pass for guitar in a drunken pub)

as for realistic 'verb, somewhere I heard that Decorator Barbie Verb was supposed to be released in Q2 2004, but I wouldn't hold my breath .. better to wait for Sid Meier's Sim Bar Verb or Oscar Madison's ClutterVerb

and while cooking I thought I had better clarify that I was not thinking of toy-verbs, but ones that would let you deploy furniture, people, clothing ... maybe even moving around

for a while I have had a strong feeling that The Man was keeping nascent and putative guitar players like me down with all those 6 string chords, so I have just been playing a few strings at a time

Really, you don't need to explain my own name to me. I do understand the Irish-Sumerian roots of the name. It's just that no one has ever called me "the son of the devil's wife before."

I didn't go into detail in my last post, because of the off-topic nature, but since you insist on repeating your devilish comment, perhaps I should explain. (I don't want everyone thinking I'm enamored of the devil or anything.)

There are several legends concerning Lilith. References to her have been said to appear in ancient Sumerian, Babylonian, and Hebrew culture, as well as many modern stories. Depending on which stories you have read, she can be a beautiful goddess, a hideous demoness, or something else entirely. She has been referred to as the queen and originator of all incubi and succbi, the queen of all vampires, Adam's first wife (before Eve), the wife or mistress of God, the wife or mistress of Lucifer, and more recently the wife of Frasier Crane on the US TV show "Cheers".

Of the people I've met, The "wife of the devil" is one of the least remembered Lilith stories. You're the first person to bring it up.

My coining of McLilith originated several years ago, after I rid myself of some very persistent and troubling nightmares. It's a long story which I don't think belongs in this particular forum, but my incorporation of "Lilith" into the name is a reference to the banishment of those nightmares, and a reference to Lilith's reputation of being the queen of all nightmare demons.
