Well, I have to admit, Muzys will still reside on my hard drive for quite a while...

Until I can get comfy with the other new apps, I'm still gonna be using it, long enough that in that amount of time, we all may discover what the real story is going to be with our beloved Muzys. Not to mention, the more I try the others, the more I long for my good ole' Muzys.

I'm done being pissed off, and now I'm actually contemplating what a potentially good future Muzys would have with a real financial backer behind Jo, the very talented engineer of Muzys.

I'm hoping Jo has learned something valuable from this latest episode of the Muzys files. After all, these sort of experiences only make you stronger.

I hope Jo can get to a happy place where the whole Muzys world is no longer resting on his sholders alone.

I won't stop looking at other apps, but Muzys is just too good to write off entirely.

Much respect to everyone here, especially Jo.

Yep, I can't see myself moving on from Muzys anytime soon. The current version works fine (exellent) for MIDI sequencing.
Cubase SE is tempting at it's price, but if I get it it'll only be for audio sequencing. My softsynths will still reside in Muzys.

I kind of switched to OSX and Logic Express in Febuary and I've managed to bring a bit of Muzys workflow into it by using the RMIV as a multitimbral instrument .
It's funny how i only realize how I work , now I can't work that way anymore.

As it happens, I'm keeping OS9 on its old disk and I see me switching back to Muzys every so often for an indefinte period of time.

Despite my craving for an OSX version, I'm in the same boat as Marco. As long as I have a Mac that can boot OS9, I'll be using Muzys. After all, using MIDI in OS9 requires OMS, and that software has been discontinued for years.

In this day and age, it's sometimes hard to remember that old is not necessarily bad...

you do realize that you can run muzys under classic if you set the buffer rates up in the muzys preferences? i think it's under audio hardware... it's tricky but you can get it to run smoothly... this is what i've been doing for the past *sigh* year maybe year and a half... all that hope and Jo saying there will be a port has had me using it under emulation for that long, pretty sad.. i still haven't figured out what i'm going to do yet :(

Running Muzys under Classic? Maybe it would kinda work, but do you use any MIDI? I doubt if OMS runs well, if at all, under Classic. Also, I'll bet audio performance would generally suck as you would have the overhead of running two OSs. I guess this is why you have to up the audio buffer rate.

Would I rely on Muzys-under-Classic if I was doing a live gig? Hell no.
