Isn't there a thread on that already? I remember the white thingy, which I don't like, looks cheap somehow...
The Overdose looks good, though, very ARPish

149 waveforms?! Don't tell me one has to select them via that slider alone

How about a slider, which offers 6 options: the 5 basic waveforms and in the 6th position a matrix pops up, with 12x12 waveform symbols for the remaining 144 waveforms

Why include a keyboard? I would leave it away and make the rest bigger as the user interface might be hard to read depending on the size of the interface.

The section label colors seem inconsistent, some are white, some beige or whatever that is.

The filter envelope amount scale should be bipolar.

Is there a little arrow missing at the end of the first FM patch?

First of all, congrats for creating these synths

Second, Siberia looks very good (the only thing I'd change would be a different texture for the OSC/LFO background - one that would look like plastic to complete the design; and maybe a little more definition on the knob contour). Overdose...pretty good as well - just not my cup of tea. ARPish, indeed

Third, presets are IMo very important - knob tweaking is cool and all, but having a factory bank that's giving you a starting point and shows you what the synth is capable of if very helpful.
Fourth: please take your time to finish the plugins the way you want. There are already tons of free synth available so rushing things would be a shame, these seem quite nice and deserve a fair chance

All in all, congratz again and keep up the good work

I'll keep an eye on these

...maybe...change the knobs on Moscow? They're distracting. Maybe some black ones with just a metallic rim? You know, something that is easier on the eye

Yeah, it was added after the initial 2. Well I hope there was some work done on the preset bank as well - last time I've checked Moscow (and the other synth I can't remember its name) it had some nasty ones (in the bad sense). Needed a bit of TLC.

Yo!

I found your website and downloaded Siberia and Mowcow. It took me about 10 minutes to fully learn how to use Siberia. Here are a few notes on what I think.

I love the overdrive/distortion. First thing I did is go to Init and turn on the distortion. This synth is good for distortion bass. I can't really get a good supersaw or lead going but i'm sure it's possible. Good amount of waveforms and lots of modulation chances. Whatever the pitch bend envelope does, it's cool. I would love to donate to you once you finish your updated version. I made a pretty sweet mario style sweeping 8 bit sound that was something I can't accomplish in lush or diversion so that's near. Only con is I was working on a track and got sidetracked.

Took preset number 3 in moscow into an epic bassline, if you're into distortion that is. It reminds me of an old 303 plug in I had. I could sit there for a long time and mess with knobs trying to make a bad ass bassline. I can't wait to hear the new ones!

Also, I wouldn't mind doing a demo video/song for your synths if you want. Just for fun

. I already made a few presets too.

I was thinking of something like this:

The labels are not very visible due to the shine of the knobs. That's why I suggested for black center filled knobs. Also a dot instead of a line mark would IMo look better. Overall the issue with the GUI is that it tries to look 3D (with the front pannel side with the synth name), but the front is flat - especially the keyboard - it could use a bit of shading that would add some dimension/gap between above the keys.

As for Siberia, looking good

I'd add some back light under the dev logo though (same as the one used for the knobs markers). Right now it looks like any other label on that synth and thus a bit confusing, 'cause it seem to be the label for that knob above.

On a different note, I love the synths that have onboard arp & effect section - because I'm working on an old PC, it helps reducing the CPU load having them inside ther synth, instead of cluttering the project with additional effects added per instrument

I think those are a modified version of one of Nick Moritz's knobs: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=95147 (you need KnobMan to modify the file according to your projects specs). Leslie Sanford has also a good number of nice knobs. Just visit http://www.g200kg.com/en/software/knobman.html , get the program and check the Knob Gallery
