Absolutely. That is one of the things that bugs me when it comes to compressor advertisements. Its real easy to crank the level of anything up and immediately get the reaction that the sound has gotten more defined and punchy or whatever. Although, its actually the character that the saturation/compression was adding to the sound that I was impressed by in those demos. Nevertheless, I have to put it to work myself to know anything. Initial reaction is excitement though and that pretty darn rare for me when it comes to compression.

It can almost get as mean as Devil Loc by SoundToys but also has all the subtleties of a clean compressor if needed.

Shame NI won't let me use a voucher on the upgrade. Wish I was paying the US price!

got the email with upgrade too but when i use the link it says that i dont have any products that qualify me for the upgrade. so i dont used thebuy button..

i own supercharger but i'm "not qualified" for the update too.

anybody know if i can use my komplete voucher for the update,it's valid until end of this month.
the voucher description is only about komplete effects and instruments...

I think i saw that too but that would be their mistake. I send a support ticket for now.

No. I tried to use my komplete voucher too, wasn't valid for updates NI stated.

Thanks, Simon, that's great. I'm going to upgrade, though I doubt I'll ever touch the saturation.
