I'm using FL for play some of my vsti. At this point all is okay but when I try to export/save as midi files, the thing works but in blank way, I mean, there is NOT data on those midi files that I'm trying to export/save as.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

This question But in case you are using the demo and are overehelmed by the number of features just go to tools/macros and you will find "prepare for midi export. This will convert all of your generator channel to midi out generators. You can then export midi of the whole arrangement in song mode or individual patterns.

Good luck.

Am I right in thinking you need to save your song under a different name before using 'prepare for midi export' as once 'prepared' the original flp is lost? The export of midi files in FL is not something I remember using

Mind you, there's always the back-up flp in the FL >Trashbin folder, the original might be there.

No just make sure you save teh midi out version under a new name otherwise you could overwrite the original generator version.
