Auto fit audio parts?

Can i make an audio part, like a drum loop, auto change pitch to fit into 8 beats or something like that? I guess i could manually try with coarse and fine pitch change, but if you could just "quantise" it to fit then it would make it very easy to mix and match drum loops.

yea, beatsync is a very handy feature for drumloops indeed.
the only bad thing about it in renoise (and hopefully better done in eXT if it will be implemented) is that after cutting a drumloop into several non-equally sized slices, you can forget about the beatsync.
edit: i'm stupid again, of course one uses sample offsets in XT to slice, so it would work fine.

quincy, its already on the list. you will have to enable this 'mode' per sample though. coming soon.
