Discounts on MOTU hardware?

Hi All,

I've been using an ultralite for a few years now and I'm thinking of upgrading to a traveler. I purchased the ultralite used at a good price and may just do that again with the traveler, but, I was curious if anyone has any insight on how likely dealers are to discount MOTU.

Yes, I know I can call around, and no, I'm not asking anyone to post prices here.

I'm just trying to figure out if they are more like Apple, or less like Apple. I pretty much know that if I want an apple computer, I'm not going to get much of a discount from retail. On the other hand, with almost everything else that's music gear, a certain amount of patience and dealing will yield a better price.

I'm not in a hurry, so if there's a better time to buy, then that would be helpful as well.
