So I was on Fiverr and there was a guy offering a service whereby you pay $5 and he'll give you feedback on a track. I thought, why not. So I paid the money and sent him the track. It's the next 2 days I should get some feedback. I'm sure there are better things to spend $5 on, but I got a payrise this month so I thought I'd splash out. If anyone is interested I'll post the feedback I get....

too bad garageband isn't around anymore, lots of qualilty feeback there and they even said We'll be around forever,,,,, yeah right

Seems once a mp3 site gets really popular they always get bought out and ended, its crazy.... happened to mp3.com and garageband etc.. Next is soundcloud,,, just you wait

Did he supply any kind of credentials or anything?

Hmmm... I don't like the idea of that to be honest. If it was something like proper mentoring, and they were going to master the track then maybe.

Also, if you PM'd a few guys that you respect on here, and asked them to take an honest look, I'd say they would do it, as long as you were not taking the piss by bothering them with every edit. The could only say no.

It is indeed. Apparently he's a radio DJ. There is a picture of him sitting in front of a mic with screen behind that has Logic so it must be legit. I'm under no illusions that my music isn't going anywhere fast, but I thought it would be fun. I mean, it's only one beer. Or five if you buy them from the corner shop (i'm in Germany).

Dude, you have your priorities sooooo wrong....

I just paid $5 for someone to critique a track...
