Still searching for an usb card with good multi-client asio drivers. These Esi Maya 22 are pretty new. They do have multiclient drivers. Are the latencies any good? I've heard some complaints about esi drivers here

I own the Maya1010 and its drivers are superb. But that's a 10-years old PCI interface...

Thanks...
Damn, why would makers not list the multi-client properties of their cards?
It's hard to fish this info. Looking at pictures of the driver GUI on manuals I could guess that NI cards do have it (they have a 'number of clients' section in the driver. The rest are mute about this. Roland? Steinberg? Hello?
I had to ask a shop over the phone to plug a Steinberg UR22, and try to output to it from 2 daws at the same time. Nope, not multiclient. Deal is dead right there. Maybe this is why they don't list it...
Argh! So difficult to pick an interface!

I agree. But whenever in doubt, just contact their Tech Support or post on their own user support forum.urlwolf wrote:Damn, why would makers not list the multi-client properties of their cards?
Just had a look on the ESI forum, couldn't even find one single post about the Maya22
Running two DAWs through ASIO is always asking for trouble. Maybe with WASAPI in non-exclusive mode. Usually it suffices to have WME available (youTube etc) while ASIO is occupied by the DAW.

Hi everyone,
I bought a Maya 22 a few weeks back, but i am having big problems with Latency. I installed the standard driver, but that does not seem to cut it. The vendor who sold it told me to install ASIO driver, but not sure how to go about this. Which one should I install?
Appreciate any help,
Best,
Emil

Install the drivers and choose Asio in your vst host.
