That's really cool of you. Awesome stuff :)

Is the problem that FL does not "see" Wolfram, nor display in the VST list after refreshing? Or does it show up in VST list, but not load?

If it's the former, FL looks in a few places for plugins:

-The '..Plugins\VST' in the FL Studio installation folder (32 Bit plugins).
-The '..\Program Files\Common Files\VST2' (64 Bit plugins on a 64 Bit Windows only).
-The folder set as the Extra search path in the File settings window (32 Bit plugins); Options>File Settings>VST Plugins Extra Search Folder

Obviously, if it's latter I have no idea.

Here's the help file entry for installing plugins in FL.

Hope you get it loaded. So far it's worked fine for me (FL 10.0.09, win7 64)
Hi Audiosabre,
I do what I can for my (potential) customers. ;)
Regarding FL, it finds Wolfram here but is not happy with it. Really weird that it loads well for you. I made a small test-vst which it loaded happily. I need to look more into this.

Have a nice weekend (all of you)

Tested here on FL 10.

Wolfram is in the list but red, so not liking it. Can load up in a send, audio passes through but when GUI open FL stuttters and crackles...not liking it at all unfortunately.
Did try another plugins ProL and noticed the notes lost timing and tripped over themselves so this is an FL issue from what I can determine.

Its worth noting that I dont use FL really at all. Fully registered user, FL(extended memory)10.0.8. Win7x64.

I know this is OT (apologies);

Pro-L has latency, so you need to enable auto-PDC in FL Studio to achieve sync. That's in mixer track options>Plugin Delay Compensation>Automatic. As long as all instruments are routed to separate mixer channels, you won't get lost timing or overlapping notes

There is no issue (with Pro-L) ;)

Absolutely Pro-L is fine I thought it would be sokmething in FL...need to learn FL a little but to preoccupied with what i can do in Cubase :) Thanks for the FL tip will check it out.

Wolfram works fine in Maschine incidentally.

Gteat plugin! Will buy it when my monetary priorities change further on during the summer. Martin, jag bor typ 5 kvarter från dig! Kul att du sätter Malmö på ljud-plugin-kartan. :-)

Hi,

Just wanted you to know that the issue with Fruity Loops has been fixed. It was a small issue so I will not rush it out. It will be available in Wolfram v1.2, no release date set yet.

I also ran three instances of Wolfram with the user interface open and audio meters running in the FL 10 trial demo song with no glitches.

cheers

Bump for this wonderfull plugin that needs much more attention!

Post

It does. :)

I played with the demo a while back and simply fed the filter/delay output back into the modulator expecting just horrible feedback but it handles it much more elegantly:

Sounds excellent, very psychadelic :)

Just bought this recently. Really cool plug for experimenting!
Stuck in Aperture Laboratories for a 2nd time!

I think this one needs a bump. This thing does lots of subtle things and then it does way out there stuff bigtime. I pull this one up when I want to really trip something out. I think it's worth the price and the customer service is top notch in my experience. It's worth checking out folks. :phones:

Thanks Rustman, glad people like my little gadget. :)
Also feel free to write here (or to me) if there's things you don't like about Volfram. Who knows, I might build a Volfram2 some day.

cheers

You're welcome Martin. You can thank CM for turning me on to it.

There's no dedicated mix control. What you can do is to use one patchbay slot and route the input signal directly to the output. Then you'll have a variable mix between wet and dry signals.

No Wet/Dry? Seems so illogical for an FX not to have that.

Nice demo sounds btw.

Version 1.2.1 that I am running does have a mix control in the bottom right next to the out level.
