(That's the song title, not an order)

Gee, I just listened to it after uploading and it starts rather abruptly.
anyway...

Comments? Advice? Threats?

imo the synths don't mesh all that well with the bass + drums. More synthetic drums might do the trick. Also the highend of the main synth is a bit tiring on the ears, could use some eq. And the whole thing is over sorta before it gets started.

Overall, sounds like the beginning of a track, might be worth revisiting and reworking a bit. Hope some of this was helpful anyway :)

btw what drumkit did you use on this?

Thanks for listening and commenting. The drums are Smartloops Dry Studio Kit "played" by Slicydrummer in DR-008, w/Timeworks compression and EQ applied.

Because I use synths for pretty much everything except bass and drums, a frequent comment is that the drums should also be "electronic" or "synthetic." I guess I need to pay more attention... What would you do with the bass?

"Short," "undeveloped," "good beginning" -- also frequent comments. I suppose I have a short attention span. I am a Ramones fan...

i had a listen to this, and to some of the others on your page.

it seems to be a bit of recurring theme, in my opinion the drums do not sit well, they also lack some variation

perhaps layer them up with a electronic kit to give them a more solid feel and make the electronic kit drums a bit more syncopated.

good ideas with the synth lines though, some good noises :D

a bit of work on the drums and this would be a good tune.

The bass could use a bit of eq'ing, since its quite dull - especially in comparison to the synth lines. Maybe try the ns_jbass soundfont from www.nskit.com if you haven't already.

The drums ... I dunno, maybe they would mesh ok with the right reverb and processing, its hard to say. But right now the mix is somewhat disjointed. I'm not sure if electronic drums would sit better, but its worth a shot in your next tune maybe.
