What Became of Bug Fix in Bass & Guitar Collections?

That's old news. Anyway, to get replacement discs contact dan@sonicreality.com and send back your old discs for a swap.
There is however going to be a verson 2 of each of the eROMS designed for SampleTank 2 and coming with a SampleTank 2 LE. This is essentially the way to get a cheap upgrade to SampleTank 2 LE from your ST1 LE. But this will only be done through www.esoundz.com
Anyone who has purchased any of the eROMS since January 1st 2004 will qualify for a free upgrade to that same title in version 2.0 with the ST2 LE.
The upgrade in terms of the sounds is mostly patches (child presets) and possibly some combis too. I am going to try to make those also available for free on their own for people that own SampleTank 2 XL (with even more bonus stuff if you bought it from esoundz). So, to explain that clearly: If you own Guitar Collection ver 1 (or any of the eROMS) AND SampleTank 2 L or XL then the upgrade for the patches will be FREE and probably going to be downloadable from your user area on sampletank.com when they are available or from a password protected esoundz page. This is yet another benefit to owning the flagship SampleTank 2 product from which all of these other products are possible.
Anyone who doesn't yet have the full SampleTank 2 is hopefully starting to see quite a lot of benefits to having it as a core to your set up. First there were free combis, then free effects patches, now free updates to all of the eROM patches... who knows what's next? But, get SampleTank 2 XL if you don't have it already! It's just going to get better and better. I am working on more and more things (tutorials, free sounds, more combis, patches, effects... and other cool things I am not even allowed to mention are in the works too... "stretch" your imagination!). SampleTank 2 has been hugely successful but the more people have it the stronger the platform is to expand upon. It's the flagship and I hope that everyone, budget permitting, gets it so they can benefit from all of the cool things that will go along with it (some free some for great VFM).

Hey Squids on a similar note, what about the upright piano's in the Piano Collections? I remember you saying a while back that you wanted to fix the high velocity which triggers too easily and too roughly. Just wondering if that got done too...
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

I'll have a look at that. I don't remember but at least I can play it and see if that is the case now. What will happen is that most likely the patches will remain how they are but as parent patches and then the child patches in ST2 format will have tweaks such as that. This way the child patches can reference the same original sounds anyone has from the capsules and can possibly be downloaded on their own (much smaller than downloading the full sample). This would be in the situation before where I mentioned it being in the sampletank user section for registered SampleTank 2 users.
By the way, Funkybot, do you have SampleTank 2 yet? I forget if you got it or not. But, it's worth it. Everything centers around SampleTank 2 with regard to eROMS, Capsules, Sonik Synth 2... it all opens under ST2XL and inter-relates in cool ways. Plus all of the free stuff which I know you'll like. There's also another plug-in we're working on that I KNOW you'll like but I can't talk about that one just yet!

Hey Squids, never got ST2, and I'm not sure if I really need it at the moment, but I'll definately check it out a little more closely at a later time. Maybe even ST3 or something based on how my back catalog of WTB plug-ins/external gear is looking at the moment.By the way, Funkybot, do you have SampleTank 2 yet? I forget if you got it or not. As to this other plug-in, if I could make a random suggestion (having no idea what it could be of course
BTW Squids, if you ever need alpha/beta testers for something like that (though again, it's just a suggestion for a plug), let me know. You know I'd test the hell out of it.

Well, A. You should get SampleTank 2. For your music it would be totally worth it IMO. It's way too cool for vintage sounds.
B. Yeah... you're awefully warm there Funky one!
Got somethin' in the works that could please you. Something ultimate and cool... plus unique. But, it will connect to SampleTank 2 in a very cool way as well so if budget permits then go for it. Talk to Dan and ask him for a student discount or something! The "I'm a KVR veteran" discount or whatever. But, you'd love it. I thought you had it already.

What bug did bass collection and guitar collection have? Just curious. I bought them a few months ago and use them in ST2... I haven't noticed any problems. Is this bug really old? From last year perhaps?
Play it by ear

I know there was a problem with the "radio ahead" patch in the guitar collection.
