What I'm looking for is a comprehensive collection of acoustic guitar strumming loops, various strumming patterns, all the standard/common chords, recorded with a mic not a pickup. Doubletracking is a must. Anyone know of good products that fit these criteria?

StrumMaker IV Acoustic and Acoustic Guitar Collection are not loop collections, but can play looped strumming patterns that you can customize. In SM4, you can choose the 12-string mode, which gives you the effect of a normally tuned guitar and a high-strung guitar hard panned. You can create any chord or pattern that you want. $46 and requires Kontakt 4+ full version.

Indiginus is one I'm looking at quite a bit. Good sound, but I haven't made the jump to have any experience to share. (Will probably jump on the Delta Guitar this week though).

I do however, have the two AAS Strum and although I find their supplied guitar sounds to be limited and not as good as the others available on the market, I do find the Acoustic Strum to be quite effective and good in some tracks. Not sure if it does loops (I think it does) but I use them more for the Strum feature and single note playing.
The AAS Electric, I don't find as convincing though. I did get their loop pack a while back as one of their 'gifts', but haven't spent anytime with it. Since I couldn't get it to work quickly and like I said, use these more just for the strum feature, I just forgot about it. The AAS electrics though, I find to be very limited in sound possibilities. Vir2 hits the sounds I need in clean electrics, although it is pricey and some of the other companies also get expensive, so it often comes down to need vs. cost.

So then the other question is, what's your budget for these?

I don't think this fits all your criteria, but at that price, it's too good to pass: http://www.wavesfactory.com/strumgtr-acoustic.php

It's a bit limited, but it has 4xRR, so if you manage to influence the RR queue, you can get double tracking. And it's only €10.

There are midi files for the Delta on the site in case you don't know it. They provide a great way to get to know Delta in the piano roll.

This almost sounds usable. idk, there's something about all out strumming that seems to elude multisampled instruments. Virtual guitars that sound very credible with fingerpicking/single note stuff fall apart when you try to get realistic strumming. I would love to retire my acoustic guitar since I hate recording, but I still feel forced into it because there's nothing I've heard that can replace a good ole-fashioned double tracked strumming part. I just want plain jane vanilla chord strumming, but ironically that seems very hard to duplicate.

That said, the price of that one is pretty good, even if it's slightly useful still might be worth it.

From Kontakt 3 forward, the library includes an instrument called AKKORD which has a huge collection of acoustic strums and some very convincing patterns.

The latest versions of Kontakt (4/5) scale back Akkord somewhat with a streamlined strum interface, but fewer actual patterns.

Bamd in a box with real tracks.

Real guitarist record real guitar parts that you can use by simply entering a chord progression then export the .wav to your host.

I always find it quite interesting that it is difficult to find guitar samples sounding pretty realistic espescialy when you have e.g relatives who play real instruments.

Take a look at our very affordable "Guitar Kitchen Vol. 1" - a collection of songs that may do exactly what you're looking for.

Thanks to Kontakt 5 (full version required) time machine pro they transpose pretty well.

Available as Apple Loops, ACIDized wavs, rex, Stylus and Kontakt 5 version.

I'd get Ample Guitar Martin or Taylor if you want brighter guitar. Strum, finger, palm mute, harmonics...just amazing virtual guitar. You can program any combination of any chords you want.

If you want just loops, Impact Soundworks' Acoustic Revolutions is great little library, but it's not comprehensive.

I have found that most of the free acoustic guitar loops online don't even sound like guitars.
The sites I've paid to join, their paid acoustic guitar loops didn't sound like guitar music either!
I'm starting to think that I might as well forget about creating music on the internet, and just learn to play the instrument myself! I've also decided that personal computers do NOT make good recording studios!
