I am greatly looking forward to the forthcoming release of the new tube guitar "Grooving Tubing" amp for nebula with an incredible realism and dynamic sound and play-feeling.
My goal was: Better one great sounding amp than 200 plastic and harsh sounding amp simulations.
Superb for clean sounds. No effects, just a fantastic sounding tube combo amp recorded with some of the best sounding microphones for guitar amp recording.

The amp was sampled with high quality Sommer Cables, the king of amp recording microphones: The Sennheiser e906 and the full and rich sounding Audio Technica 4050 as a spot microphone. Each of them sounds fantastic on its own. Copy your guitar track, mix and pan the 2 microphones and you'll have a full, wide stereo guitar sound, larger than life !
And last but not least: Working wonderful for Hammond-Organ, Fender Rhodes and any kind of E-Pianos, making flat sounding midi-instruments come alive.

Besides, S-Gear, Kuassa, TSE, Ignite, Mercuriall, don't sound plastic or harsh at all.

Exactly on this I m working at the moment...the samples are all in the box and sound very natural.
But I want the users not to have any gain loss or opposite, so I^m in the editing period.
Nebula has dynamic response sampling and also reproduces harmonic distortions...this makes it so realistic. I worked for years with normal IR's (made also IR's on my own) and I love them believe me and for bandcontext they work well.
But to have a nice sologuitar standing alone like Pat Metheny, George Benson, Tuck Andress... needs another animal IMO. No intention to offend anyone !!
And I dindn't say they sound all harsh
I was refering to some plugins emulating hundreds of amps and effects but not puting love in the detail.
I made from my nebula program also a normal IR and loaded in kefir and there were worlds in between the nebula program and the flat IR. The "3rd dimension" was missing.

Did you use nebula to print it on your tracks before mixing.
I do like that to save ressources. Its like thinking in an old analog studio. What would I dream my instruments to be recorded through before they land on the hard disk.
Here an avalon on the vocals, there a Neve on a guitar. And then to process them to a new track and forgetting about and to mix with the sounds you have...

For clean, full bodied solo sounds unfortunately I was not completely convinced until now
