I'm interested in this library...but I don't understand the bigger=better mindset. I'm sure this library is going to be great, but on the other hand, someone could create 350Gbytes of garbage.
I'm sorry about my negativism...

Hello,
this is Kirk Hunter, not Chris, Orville or Beelzebub. That means Top Table along with VSL and EWQLSO.
However, 350 Gb is big with Gigastudio. That means at least 1 dedicated PC though even with a 3 GHz PC it might mean 2 PC's or more dedicated to playing the library. Of course there are conversion programs for EXS24 and Kontakt but that would be a huge job.
Simply learning the libary will be a huge task.
best wishes,
Monty

Can be interesting

Those who hesitates to buy the excelent solo strings for 199$... Add 200$ and you'll have 92Gb of string ensembles...

The players and hall used are quite professional from a name orchestra and its performance venue. I would LOVE to "brag" about them, etc, but sadly, I'm under a non-disclosure contract. That was the only way I could afford to get such good players and a nice hall. Seriously, I don't mean to sound cryptic about it. I'll be posting some rudimentary demos soon.
(And yes, I'm just ONE guy doing the lion's share of this [except the recording engineer, who was quite professional]. However, it looks like I'm going to be hiring quite a few more to create a more extensive editing/programming/promotion team on such a big project.)
Thanks.
KH

I had 3 out of the 4 solo strings and Kirk Hunter by email told me i was eligible for VIP discount.
Not so expensive... 300 Euros (150 euros cheaper than Halion string edition). I get more than 90Gb of string ensemble plus the viola that i miss...
Waiting will be hard....

Yes, and this one (the first one) sounds good :
http://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/TheHuntM.mp3
(not really romantic strings... )
In the other demos, i find the strings mix strange... The ambiance is different from the first part with woodwinds.
It's maybe because the solo woodwinds are recorded dry and not the strings as they say on the site.
These Woodwinds are very promising....

Sounds pretty damn good for a grand... errrr. I mean $1200, so I can buy 2 200 gig drives to put the library on! Too bad they only have 300 gig hard drives as the largest right now!
