Bought my copy. Definitely unique and tasty, a kind of UBK-1 on steroid. Powerful harmonic exciter and really creamy dynamic processing. Ok the gui is a bit weird but I love it. The only little negative point to me is the small size of the meter. Kush is definitely a really original and innovative company, lot of creativity and cleverness behind their plugs (and hardware according to those who own these units). Thanks Greg and congrats to Kush for that amazing tool !

Yep, I bought this one... There's a lot of stuff it can do. Great on a drum bus!
I'm looking forward to having a good go over the next wee while.

I'm demo'ing it and can't decide if I like the GUI or if it just gets in the way. Some of the presets really demonstrate what this thing is capable of. I find its very easy to go overboard.

It does get in the way...a distraction, which is a shame.momalle3 wrote:I'm demo'ing it and can't decide if I like the GUI or if it just gets in the way. Some of the presets really demonstrate what this thing is capable of. I find its very easy to go overboard.

UBK-1 is one of my most used plugins. The Clariphonix dsp EQ has been very handy. But I don't know about the Pusher. The price is also high (I bought UBK-1 and Clariphonix at half price).

FWIW, I think UBK-1 and Clariphonic DSP were $299 each when they first were released.kiezum wrote:UBK-1 is one of my most used plugins. The Clariphonix dsp EQ has been very handy. But I don't know about the Pusher. The price is also high (I bought UBK-1 and Clariphonix at half price).

I have a serious latency problem with this plugin so have abandoned the demo. It sends everything out of time.

I did some tests with the latency stuff. It seems like the correct latency is 219 samples. I don't know much about other DAWs though in reaper you can compensate for it with the JS plugin time_adjustment. Just put it behind pusher and set "additional delay amount (samples)" to -219
Can anyone confirm?

someone should make a new youtube video cuz im not impressed at all about this one
its sound like a generic Wave-shaper, nothing worth the ilok hassle
Demo shoud NOT be electronic music cause anything goes in that genre

Are there many people still using this, or have the other/newer saturation plugins surpassed it?

I use it. its really nice despite all the other saturation plugins. however these days I am putting less and less distortion on my work - I find it causes more problems than not.
