Hi.

I'm an Aussie guy,I just found this forum.I'm hoping to learn more about Midi sound modules,Midi connections,DAW software and appropriate hardware to run DAW software.I'm a non professional piano player, songwriter, singer and I invested in good equipment for home use only:
Roland RD700sx stage piano,
Roland KC350 amplifier
Tascam DP03- 8 track digital recorder/mixer/cd burner.
XLR mic
Ketron SD1000 sound module.
Ketron SD2 sound module.
The equipment is ideal for my needs.

I can play piano, record, upload to pc and burn cds. This area I'm comfortable with.

I'm reasonable computer savy for most basic computer things but not savy when combining software, computers and digital pianos.Thats where I need help.

I also need help with things like active sensing, etc.

Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome to the forums! :)

So judging by your list of gear, I take it you are wanting a way to record your external hardware and vocals into a computer?

First off what sort of computer do you own? Do you know the internal specifications?

Hi.Thank you.

I learnt to use the Tascam 414 mk2 portastudio years ago then replaced it over 6 months ago with the Tascam DP03.I can record onto the Tascam then upload the files to computer.

I'm looking for help with Midi sound modules then DAW software, etc.

Second rule of KVR.

You do not want to go taking anything Tricky Dicky says with any seriousness.

He does not speak for the major vast majority at KVR.

Really.

If you consist only of hate, you should go to a doctor...

Now if you're insulting me once more, I'll call for a ban.

Do your damndest my good man.

If that is the best you got.

It was just a bit of fun, but if you wanna get nasty bout it, why don't you go ahead and give the mods a headache they don't need. When we are supposed to be unruly children playing in the garden.

But yeah, go on.

If insulting people is fun for you, I cannot help you anymore. But you're on my black list, anyway...

What did I do worse except asking for questions? Should I ask codec_spurt if I'm allowed to ask for questions?
