VST probably won't accept per-voice controll. So it would mean nothing even if the LFO device sent different parameters for each voices. I think If synth needs per voice LFO it has to be in the synth program itself.

That's why I love KVR.hibidy wrote:What part of NO FAT BEATS do you not understand????????
Only bitwig makes the FAT beats!
If Bitwig would be in the nice price category of DAWs I would listen to feature eulogies with ardour and not waste energyXT for ranting and play the verbal reaper for the hungry ghosts.

Ideed I think it's overpriced. Probably they decided the price by thinking about the time when the product reaches version 5 or so for not having to raise the price.TheoM wrote:fluffy_little_something wrote:
To put it this way, what else would justify the high price relative to something like Tracktion?
Devices and the mixed session/arranger view I guess.
I hope no one gets too offended but I think Bitwig is overpriced.
Logic for $199 can be justified over tracktion because it's a complete studio (and besides the session view thing does a HELL of a lot more than bitwig can)

It's an expensive habit. I guess it's better than crack or meth.KoolFartWind wrote:That's why I love KVR.hibidy wrote:What part of NO FAT BEATS do you not understand????????
Only bitwig makes the FAT beats!I am in rant mode, cause I realized I wasted too much money on average DAW software (with dodgy pricing policies), when the best on the market does cost only a fraction.

And it took me this long to find the ones that I can work with!!!

Ah, ok. That makes sense. Now if only i could route midi from a VST to another VST or Bitwig instrument…ThomasHelzle wrote:...but the results are static...33tetragammon wrote:Random pitch and velocity (hell, even random automationThomasHelzle wrote:Hey guys'n galls
Just a little heads up: There were questions about the Midi Tools in BWS recently, things like Random Pitch and Random Velocity. Since this isn't there in BWS 1.0…..
Tom), amongst other things ARE available via the histograms in Bitwig 1.0.
This tool changes them live and continuously.
Great for generative People like me...![]()
Cheers,
Tom
That being said, Bitwig's arpeggiator is fabulous for random generative stuff when modulating the crap out of it with Bitwig LFO's set to S&H…each arpeggiator step can be modulated!!!!!!
I'll check your device out, i'm also one of those generative people….

This. It is really very ignorant to think that a company of 10 people or so can compete with the largest computer company in the world. Please just stick to Logic if you think the price is unfair - the price is more than fair!Tronam wrote:Would Logic Pro cost $199 if it was the lifeblood of the company creating it?
One day and I will be 399 usd down, one new DAW up
