Me criticising the Ableton 'moderator' for allowing people to tell others to kill themselves or crawl off and die has no bearing on my opinion that Bitwig have made huge improvements to the DAW. Putting the Launcher in Arrange View, in the same orientation as the timeline, is a revolutionary stroke of genius regardless of the fact that I complained that the Ableton 'mod' banned the VICTIM rather than the perpetrator, and then banned me for complaining about it. Are we clear? Now can we discuss Bitwig Studio and not me please?

yea it became look something vendetta and is getting kinda annoying though it had some point at fisrt.

Another short technical intermezzo, if you'll allow me

Can anybody tell a bit about the sampler workflow?

in specific:
- can you record samples directly to it? or are you supposed to drag&drop them from your audio files list?
- can any (destructive) audio operations be performed on the sample? (cut/copy/paste selections, fade in/out, normalize, etc)
