Inspired by several interesting conversations with Mystahr and Glassback on saturday I wrote this yesterday when I got home.

It's my attempt at "loosening up" a bit in my songwriting so it might not work.

Loved it :)

It takes me back to the 70s
Don't know why, I imagine this being done by Neu! after a load of beers :D

Sure, clean it up and finish it, man :)
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

A treat for the ears this tune, great influencial music with some fine sequences going on :)

Step #2 - get rid of syncing

Post

Mystahr,

thanks for your comments (and your hosting  )

enjoyed the weekend, glad your home safe.

the syncing will go (eventually) it's a bit like asking a baby to get up and run the marathon as it's still learning to crawl

had fun with ugo's synth on this one (string theory, rez and motion), good call on that one.

Good stuff. I like it. There's some really nice sounds in here.

Ah finally got it (thanks Mystahr).

Sounding good. Nice use of Ugo's String Theory. A half speed drum break would have got it laying way further back (I'm not much of a fan of 4/4 kick drums though ;)).

Nice job (and speedy too!).

thanks for the comments, just a tester really, not finished yet.

i'm trying to (slowly) move away from my 8/16 bar 4/4 songwriting style and experiment a little more

it's quick cos i wasn't up for doing much on sunday except sitting at home and playing (and recovering), waiting for the football

steve.

ps. just sorted out some proper webspace so by tommorrow.... no more sounclick
