Isn't this basically the same kind of bunk that IL tried to push as "Good enough for X64" before they just did what they should have and ported to X64 ?ThomasHelzle wrote:Some pages earlier the Devs explained about the 64 Bit version: Bitwig consists of different modules. The main loader on Windows is ATM 32 Bit and loads further 32 Bit or 64 Bit modules that do the real work depending on the system.
Quite a unique concept that basically frees you from thinking about it

Yup, first thing I did ( adding a root as lib location ).kurasu wrote:did you add a file-system root as a library location? We have a crash-report coming in which looks like that's the cause.. Try deleting you preferences file and try restarting.digidennis wrote:Fantastic program, crashes instantly..
Just close them as they come.Suloo wrote:Do i need to close the crash message in order to let Bitwig proceed with scanning, or can i just wait until it has scanned evrything and close that window then once? Keeps popping up instantly..
No, it's different since it was created that way from the get go as I understand it. The GUI (ATM 32 Bit on Windows) is separate from the Audio Engine (32 or 64 Bit depending on the system) and the Plugin Hosts are again separate from the Audio Engine and can be both 32 and 64 Bit on demand to provide for both kinds of plugins.bungle wrote:Isn't this basically the same kind of bunk that IL tried to push as "Good enough for X64" before they just did what they should have and ported to X64 ?ThomasHelzle wrote:Some pages earlier the Devs explained about the 64 Bit version: Bitwig consists of different modules. When i selected my ASIO soundcard the selection for the sample rate was empty. I had to use the refresh buttion (the circle above the audio card selection) to get it working.Maadfoo wrote:Are you on PC? With ASIO I had no sound to. With WASAPI it works.
Did you create Devices or just go with the defaults?Geek Model wrote:I just select my output device Komplete Audio 6 then restart program. That's all. I'm on Mavericks 10.9.2. If i selecting samples in browser everything is fine but when load them on audio tracks - no sound.
