Well if that's the case, I disagree. Apple's GarageBand is really great.Markleford wrote:He may be thinking about the Mac software "GarageBand".

That's not the topic, though.
Garage Band (the site) you kind of just have to take it for what it is. Lots of your reviews will be half-assed efforts by people who are just trying to get their 15 pairs done so they can upload their own stuff. Some will like your stuff a lot, some will slag it unmercifully. You just have to take it all in stride. Ignore 90% of it.
My band has 4 songs on Garage Band. 3 have been chosen as "Tracks Of The Day."
All three of those songs, however, were rejected a number of times by Taxi, who's critiques hold significantly more value and accuracy.

sleek,
i registered at garageband about 2 years ago. put up a couple of songs (you have to do a shitload of reviews for songs before you can upload yours) but it was okay. you hear some interesting stuff and the best part is you get to pick your genre of songs to review. i haven't been on there in a while so i hope things haven't changed. of course you have your run of the mill jackasses, but other than that, i can't really say anything bad about it........haven't been there in about a year i guess, just got sick of doing reviews.
