1. Color scheme - SAVE YOUR EYES
When I apply a color to an audio event in arrange that same color appears in sample edit mode as a background color. I want a white background and a black wafeform color when I edit waveforms, no matter what color the events have in the arrange mode. Is there a way to change this? If not, I really hope Steinberg updates the program. Colors make sense in arrange, but are only annoying in sample edit. (The Key editor doesn't suffer from the same problem.)

2. Plug-ins
In the sample editor: I select the audio, right-click and select plug-ins. All the DX plugins appear, even though I have unchecked many of them in the "Plug-in info". It would be better if the plugs were sorted as in the mixer inserts. As it is now they are sorted differently depending if you access them from the mixer, sample editor by right-clicking or the audio menu.

3. Plug-in FX
It would be cool if you could drag and drop FX from one insert slot to another (like in Wavelab).

4. Cubase and Kontakt (Native Instruments)
Computer crash when loading Kontakt instruments when having two or more projects open at the same time and then closing one of the projects. I tested the same procedure twice and unfortunately Cubase crashes the system.

5. Processing Audio Parts - IMPORTANT -
If you import a REX2 drum loop into an audio track, select a plug-in from the audio menu and try to preview it it only plays the first slice, even though I'm in the project window and have selected the whole audio event file. And if I choose "process" in the same dialogue the plug-in affects the whole file, ie all slices. So it processes all slices, but only previews the first slice!

6. REX2 and Groove Templates
How do I create a groove template after importing a REX2 drum loop? It doesn't seem to work from the Audio Part Editor (as opposed to the Sample Editor).

7. Side-chaining is not available which is really useful.

Cheers :idea:

Some good questions there!

I can comment on #2.plug-ins;
-I did the same as you descibed...in my plug-ins drop list it shows "DirectX" to open the directX sub-drop down list showing all my DX.

I`m using nuendo v 2.2.0
....................Don`t blame me for 'The Roots', I just live here. :x
