Hi, question by an inexperienced user.
I placed it in this forum cause it's related to V-STack usage.
Are there "dummy" VST plugins available?
I mean something capable to take the audio input and route it to its stream output. I need cause I am using V-STack and there is no way to get the audio (sound card) input, just streams from vst instruments.
So no way to plug there a mic or a guitar...
Maybe a simple VST instrument taking audio input and doing nothing with it could make possible to insert also mic/lines in VStack. Obviously its input should be from soundcard linein not from another VST stream like any VST fx.
And since I am here is there something doing the some with output? Running a input stream to the audio out. To route to external fx processing?
Thanks

For what it`s worth;
I use "chainer"in stand alone to record wave of inputed audio.
Such as a synth module run through my audio card input.
This works fine.
I tried this using chainer as an effect in vstack.
It comes up with the audio input set "on"...but I was not able to have any audio come through it.
If you use vstack as in "system link",then good luck with the audio in.
If you use it as an instrument chaining host...I would recommend "chainer" or chainer demo.This will do what you need.
