thanks a lot Matt. no amp modeling plugs, just the effects pedal and right into the 'ole PC. No micing of the geetars at all. Oh, and drums were courtesy of Fru T. Loops a la a kit i put together.

no bananas were hurt in the making of this song either acutally things were pretty quiet. guitars went straight into the PC and headphones were used for monitoring. now vocals were a whole different story - i need to get some soundproofing material.......

Really great guitar works. Well done mate

The drums and especially the cymbals sounds very un-metal and gives it a bit of a electronica feel. I like the idea of the intro synths... and then the great turn in events as the guitars take over.

hey Sep thx a lot. Glad you like the synth intro with the guitar takeover - exactly what i was going for. i'm not sure if its a bad thing that the drums sounded electronica or not. i like meshing styles as long as it sounds good and still has a METEL feel. thx again
