Hello everyone,
I'm from Zagreb, Croatia and plan to move in to Dublin to pursue my engineering and music career. I applied for a part time course at the RIAM and I'm currently waiting for them to schedule my audition which should be the first two weeks of May. I am writing a math exam on April 26th as well which is why I already scheduled my trip there and will be staying until the audition is held. However, I do not have a place to practice and the Academy assured me all their rehearsal rooms are taken by the students which is why I must ask for someone to lend me a place to practice between 2 and 3 hours a day (might skip a few days) until the audition is held. I understand it might be too much to ask of someone but it would be great to be lend a hand and avoid paying 20-30 Euros a day by hiring a rehearsal room.
thank you all!

Have you tried checking with some local venues to see if someone would be kind enough to let you use their piano? I live a long way from the US, but I know that in the city where I work there is a guy who is allowed to use the piano in a large hall that has public access during the day - I think most people are glad to just hear him play as they walk past.
Check out as many places as you can think of, or maybe someone here from Dublin could suggest a few places? A phone call and an explanation might be all it takes if all you need is access to a piano and you won't be in anyone's way.
