I guess I'm showing my age.
It's not the easiest thing to figure out, that's for sure. Groove3 has a nice tutorial that saved me a bunch of time. I actually hate the AutoMap, so it's taking me longer to figure out how to use some features without using AutoMap.

To be fair, I'm 46 and I got the music degree straight after high school (i.e., before I had enough sense to really consider what I wanted to do with my life). Not that I really regret it, but it wasn't something that I ever really put to good use. Took me another 4 years to figure that what I really wanted to do was become a scientist, which is pretty much what I knew I had wanted to do since I was a kid. So, that four years studying music was sorta a waste of time for me, but I enjoyed college (all 11 years between the BA, BS, and MS :dog: )

I'm a drummer, and can fake/find my way around guitar and keyboards. I like sitting on my garage roof alone sometimes. I look younger than I am as well. I was asked if I was old enough to serve alcohol??!!

At least you have the profession you wanted to have since childhood. That's a privilege, not everyone has the chance (and money) to study. Many intelligent people are doing even simple worker or office helper jobs just to get some money...

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Who is MickGael? MickGael is a complex personality, as are most of the small breed of modern day renaissance millionaires.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
