I'd day s "please to meet you" and shake your hand, but I think I'll pass on the handshake :hihi:
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

38 bald head , blue eyes . 5 11 216 lbs .. Soaking wet :hihi: OK I'll stop now ... 3 acoustic guitars ( add6 string 12 string n baritone ) 1 Bass , 1 electric guitar . 25 key midi controller . One 4x4 m audio trigger finger . I've traded in and sold guitars and basses as well as plugins and hosts over the years . I usually get rid of things not being used or bought on impulse . I have only a handful of purchased and free plugins that I've kept . Alchemy , Aalto , EZdrummer (ezx s ),DDMF EQs bundle , the Glue, TDR feedback compressor , Reverberate Liquidsonics , Valhalla uber vvv and room Oh and Dramatic 4 haven't messed with it too much . For VST Hosts Tracktion 5 , Reaper 4 ( don't use much ) and Ardour/mixbuss ...On Linux I use Hydrogen , Ardour/mixbuss ... I'm thinking of getting ReNoise soon and learn it . I have a 2.6 i7 diy build .FireWire echo audiofire 4 interface mics and mic pres and guitar amps too etc etc . I'm not much of a people person but I fake it pretty good while I'm at work . I'm more of a singer songwriter and not an EDM producer type , but I still like to mess with samples and softsynth stuff for fun, that's why I want to give ReNoise a go . But my main thing is singing and acoustic guitar playing .

46 years old resembling a sort of malnourished Phil Collins with a very big nose (living in Japan, this causes problems with thimble-sized sake cups and I have to side-swaggle). I have several teeth missing with my mouth suggesting the tooth fairy 'done a smash and grab'. Appearance-wise I have been likened to Scrooge in the recent (Disney?) animated version of A Christmas Carol, which I haven't seen unless you count looking in the mirror. I smoke roll-ups and drink cheap red wine out of a broken cup. Despite holding a British passport and growing up in a middle class environment surrounded by culture and books, I fart aggressively.

Mercifully, my wife's cheerful disposition makes the above acceptable

Music-wise I spend more time tinkering with junk than playing and much effort goes into developing DIY solutions to problems that wouldn't otherwise exist. Aside from a nice Takamine acoustic guitar, I do not own any quality equipment. Except for an iPad with a few apps, all my music software is pre-2006.

I am musically illiterate and 'tone blind' - whenever I work out the notes to a melody in my head it can take an age to locate them on a keyboard as I misjudge all the intervals and I'm constantly surprised to find where the next note actually lies. I frequently settle for simplified versions as I am too lazy to persevere. My renditions of other people's songs rarely extend beyond a single verse and chorus using a 'close enough' set of chords and my own songs use a vanilla palette of musical expression.

I am available for life coaching. PM me here.

I'm 58 at least for another three months. I'm a piano technician, all I've ever done since I was 19. going to homes, churches etc tuning and fixing pianos. When I started, people would comment that I didn't look old
enough to be a piano tuner. I don't get those comments anymore... :scared:
2 acoustic guitars, an electric, bass, around a dozen hardware synths and a piano.
2 motorcycles, 3 dogs, 3 divorces and 4 kids (all grown).
