Does anyone know how to get rid of the Pending Connections dialog box when you start up Cubase SX2.0?

Before I got my Hammerfall card, I used a Tascam US-428 which, since then I've trashed but that's what keeps showing up in this Pending Connections box. I've deleted all references to this device from my computer a long time ago.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

have you checked through, and reset to default, any settings you`ve made to Sx when you set it up for that controller?

When the pending connections box appears (it should only appear in songs that you started before you uninstalled your Tascam), you can use a drop down box (which is not immediately obvious) to re-route the connections displayed to existing hardware.

Once this is done once, you shouldn't get the pending connections error anymore.

hope that helps,

Simply set all of the 'midi-out-not-connected' tracks to one of the actual existing VSTIs and then that them all back to 'not connected'. next time loading this projekt that dialog should not pop up...

hope that helps :)
